“Girl Meets Popular”
After Cory teaches a lesson on truth, Riley and Maya struggle with whether or not it was right to lie to Farkle and tell him he's a good actor and if Maya should keep the locket she found, even though it doesn't belong to her.
After Farkle ruined the school's Romeo and Juliet, Riley lies to Farkle about his acting skills so he wouldn't feel bad. Maya tries convincing Riley to tell the truth, but she fails to do so. At the same time, Riley wants to know where Maya got a locket that she's wearing, and she finally admits she claimed it at the Lost & Found, even though it's not hers. When Riley thinks Maya should return the locket, Maya refuses, because her dad never sends her anything and because she doesn't think it's right that Riley can lie to Farkle, but she can't take something that's not hers.
Meanwhile, Topanga is mad at Cory after he blatantly tells her that her chicken isn't good. Topanga eventually kicks him about, and for a while, Cory has to sneak in through Riley's bedroom window. Cory talks to Riley and Maya about the universe, and how it seems to be confusing.
Finally, Riley, Maya, and Cory learn what truth is after Auggie makes cold spaghetti for Cory. (Later, they realize Topanga sent Auggie in to teach them a lesson about truth.) Riley learns that telling the truth is important, but that you should say it in a kind way. She tells Farkle her opinion on his acting, which he's disappointed about at first. They make up, and Farkle gives Riley her first kiss, which is later revealed that he missed. Lucas enters and says that Farkle took his moment. Riley asks Lucas if he really thought that it was his moment. Lucas confesses that he didn't, and that his moment will be his moment. Maya learns that the universe does pay attention to her, and she returns the locket to it's original owners. Lastly, Cory learned that the truth doesn't matter as much as you treat people, and he sneaked in through the living room window and talked to Topanga. He said that it didn't matter what she cooked - he's just glad that they're together. They make up as well, and the episode ends with a kiss and Auggie turning away from it.
Lucas: Eyes, look your last(Looks at Riley, lying down). Arms, take your last embrace. And, lips, oh, you the doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss.
Farkle:(jumps from the side of the stage) Back off!
Lucas: What meanest thou? Spear carrier , who harvest no lines.
Farkle: You tried to kiss my woman. This I cannot allow. Prepare to die!
Maya: Oh, I can tell him the truth. It's you who can't tell him the truth because you're afraid.
Riley: I'm not afraid. I'm nice.
Maya: You're saying I'm not nice?
Riley:No I'm afraid to say that.
